About Us

Entering our 11th year, SynergyForce has had a profound impact on the local volleyball community.  Thriving through program innovation, quality and depth of coaching staff, and our commitment to excellence, our National, Power and Premier programs have all risen to the top. We are grateful for the success and support we’ve experienced over the past eight years.  Our imminent goal is to create the most complete volleyball club in Northern California by building a foundation for long-term success.  As a club, we take our influential role in fostering the benefits of sport very seriously.  We constantly re-evaluate our practices and methods to ensure that we capture the opportunity to learn for both our young athletes and ourselves.   In our opinion, winning goes far beyond the court.  We have a responsibility in making sure our young athletes understand the importance of education.  We are committed to teach in a positive environment with a balanced approach that makes healthy athletes, and people, at all ages.

Milestones

The 2022/2023 season is another year full of noteworthy SynergyForce milestones.

  • We experienced a massive growth in total number of girls teams, growing to 54+ teams across three unique programs.
  • We developed the most experienced and talented coaching roster, with multiple collegiate coaches, former professional athletes, and experience both competing and coaching at the national level. 
  • Our alumni are performing at a high level in college, both academically and on the court. 
  • We continue to deliver a high level of on-the-court performance at the National, Power, and Premier levels.
  • Last season, we had the most success of any club in the greater Sacramento area, with our 18-1 National team earning an Open Bid to Girls Junior National Championships, 3 other teams earning bids to Nationals, and our other National and Power teams being among the top performers in the region in both league events and National Qualifiers
  • Our class of 2023 produced 15 athletes who are continuing on to play volleyball collegiately, including at TCU, Santa Clara, UC Davis, Sac State, Texas Tech, and Georgia State. We also have athletes in our 2024 class committed to BYU, Brown, and UC Santa Barbara

 

The rapid growth in our number of teams and total athletes has prompted us to evaluate different ways to improve both the volleyball and administrative components of our business model.  We have successfully incorporated an online secure payment system, allowing our member families to register and pay online for most club programming.  We look forward to building on other new improvement programs which include: a college recruiting assistance program, a continued relationship with Carson Lowden for our athletic training and conditioning, use of Hudl video technology for recruiting film and data analysis, and a strong relationship with the Placer Valley Event Center for many of our practice and competitive needs. 

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

 

  • Our National Program, derived from the Best Practices of the top six volleyball clubs in the nation, represents the first comprehensive club-wide elite training program in the region for the elite athlete.
  • Our coaching line-up includes: former U.S. National Team members, multiple NCAA All-Americans, multiple former & current NCAA D-I, D-II and JC coaches, multiple NCAA scholarship athletes, California High School D-I State Championship coaches, and multiple coaches who have played professionally both in the U.S and in Europe.
  • Our training takes place at the beautiful Placer Valley Event Center in Roseville, CA (The Grounds). The Grounds is home to 24 hardwood volleyball courts, retractable net systems, climate control, and team meeting spaces.
  • We are a founding club of the West Coast Volleyball Association (WCVBA). The WCVBA was formed to give clubs and families a better club volleyball experience and is designed to bring organized professionalism, transparency, and first-class service. This league is designed to best prepare our SynergyForce teams to compete at the highest level on the National stage. 
  • We offer the #1 youth development program in the region with our Youth Academy, which has produced multiple athletes who have competed across all three SynergyForce programs and have gone on to play collegiately.
  • Our 100+ alumni who have gone on to play college volleyball have been awarded over $10 million in athletic and academic scholarships, including 10 to Power 5 conference universities.
  • We believe that “winning” goes far beyond the court. Our program is built with an emphasis on academic achievement and family, supported by uncompromised, mutual respect between coaches and athletes, and coaches and parents.

 

We strive to be ambassadors of the sport and to provide opportunity for players at all levels to flourish in the game.  In life and sports, we understand that the phrase “what you put in, is what you get out” applies not only to our young athletes but also to our coaches and the entire SynergyForce family.  We are committed to “teach” in a positive environment with a balanced approach that makes healthy athletes, and people, at all ages.
