About Us

Entering our 13th year, SynergyForce has had a profound impact on the local volleyball community.  Thriving through program innovation, quality and depth of coaching staff, and our commitment to excellence, our National, Power and Premier programs have all risen to the top. We are grateful for the success and support we’ve experienced over the years.  Our imminent goal is to create the most complete volleyball club in Northern California by building a foundation for long-term success.  As a club, we take our influential role in fostering the benefits of sport very seriously.  We constantly re-evaluate our practices and methods to ensure that we capture the opportunity to learn for both our young athletes and ourselves.   In our opinion, winning goes far beyond the court.  We have a responsibility in making sure our young athletes understand the importance of education.  We are committed to teaching in a positive environment with a balanced approach that makes healthy athletes, and people, at all ages.

Milestones

The 2024/2025 season was another year full of noteworthy SynergyForce milestones

  • SynergyForce Volleyball Club was ranked #88 in the US , #3 in Northern California , and #1 in Greater Sacramento in the 2025 National Volleyball Club Rankings

  • SynergyForce experienced massive growth in the total number of boys teams, growing to 12 teams with the addition of the Boys National Program. The girls program continues to excel  with 54+ teams across four unique programs: National, Power, Premier and In-House.

  • Teams continue to deliver a high level of on-the-court performance at the National, Power, and Premier levels.

  • SFV had the most success of any club in the greater Sacramento area, with 9 teams earning bids to Nationals, and had other National and Power teams being among the top performers in the region in both league events and National Qualifiers.

  • SynergyForce alumni are performing at a high level in college, both academically and on the court. 

  • SFV developed the most experienced and talented coaching roster, with multiple collegiate coaches, former professional athletes, and experience both competing and coaching at the national level.

The rapid growth in our number of teams and total athletes has prompted us to evaluate different ways to improve both the volleyball and administrative components of our business model.  We have successfully incorporated an online secure payment system, allowing our member families to register and pay online for most club programming.  We look forward to building on other new improvement programs which include: a college recruiting assistance program, a continued relationship with James Todd for our athletic training and conditioning, use of Hudl video technology for recruiting film and data analysis.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

  • Our National Program, derived from the best practices of the top six volleyball clubs in the nation, represents the first comprehensive club-wide elite training program in the region for the elite athlete.

  • Our coaching line-up includes: Olympic Gold Medalists, former U.S. National Team members, NCAA All-Americans, former & current NCAA D-I, D-II and JC coaches, NCAA scholarship athletes, California High School D-I State Championship coaches, and coaches who have played professionally in both the US and Europe.

  • We are a founding club of the West Coast Volleyball Association (WCVBA). The WCVBA was formed to give clubs and families a better club volleyball experience and is designed to bring organized professionalism, transparency, and first-class service. This league is designed to best prepare our SynergyForce teams to compete at the highest level on the National stage. 

  • We offer the #1 youth development program in the region with our Youth Academy, which has produced many athletes who have competed across all three SynergyForce programs and have gone on to play collegiately.

  • Our 170+ alumni who have gone on to play college volleyball have been awarded over $10 million in athletic and academic scholarships, including Power 5 conference universities.

  • We believe that “winning” goes far beyond the court. Our program is built with an emphasis on academic achievement and family, supported by uncompromised, mutual respect between coaches, athletes, and parents.

We strive to be ambassadors of the sport and to provide opportunity for players at all levels to flourish in the game.  In life and sports, we understand that the phrase “what you put in, is what you get out” applies not only to our young athletes but also to our coaches and the entire SynergyForce family.  We are committed to teaching in a positive environment with a balanced approach that makes healthy athletes, and people, at all ages.
